FAB Recommendation for the Oxtail
1. Heat a large, heavy pot over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil. Season the Angus Beef Oxtail with salt and pepper. Sear the oxtail pieces on all sides until browned.
2. We recommend to add chopped onions, carrots, and celery to the pot and sauté for a few minutes. Add any optional herbs and spices like bay leaves, thyme, and garlic.
3. Pour in enough beef broth to cover the oxtail pieces halfway.
4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 2.5 to 3 hours or until the oxtail becomes tender. Stir occasionally and add more liquid if needed.
5. Once the oxtail is tender and falling off the bone, remove it from the pot. Serve the Angus Beef Oxtail with the cooking liquid as a sauce.
